The Museum will be open Saturday, November 19,

 

so those attending the Ruritans District Meeting in Richmondmay visit.  The Ruritans have helped the Museum several time with

tearing down, cleaning up and hauling away.....all a great service to the Museum !!!

 

 

 

 

Recent additions at the Museum: 

 

Jr. Majorette dress donated by Darlene (Godfrey) Springer

 

Vivian Chambers' 1935 wedding dress and

 

Tom Chambers Richmond High School band uniform and hat

 

donated by Tom and Beth Chambers

 

Fourth generation darning sock donated by Robert L. Cooper family

 

Numerous archival materials added

 

such as the 1898 Richmond High School commencement program
 
New album called "The Younger Generation" started,
 

so please give the Museum photos, newspaper stories or your own stories

 

about what the 'younger' ones are doing in school or their careers.....

 

 Some examples in the album are Jeremy Topp, Chase Brown, Caleb Powelson,

 

Mr. and Mrs. George Wuertz, Todd Mildfelt, Katie Tooley...and more.

 

Would like to have many others !!!
 
About 25 members of the Horstick family visited the Museum

 

recently and enjoyed it very much, they said.
